ACHIEVE HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS PERFECTION!

I’m Mr. Prepared and I Want You to Have a Plan!

Hurricane season is bearing down on us all here in the land of the red, white and blue – with 2008 forecasts calling for an unusually active hurricane season! That’s why I’m going to be unusually active in insisting that you do the best you can to achieve a level of emergency preparedness that will safeguard your own safety and those around you!

I’m Mr. Prepared – and I’m the expert at helping you with all sorts of disaster preparedness – hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, fire safety, I pretty much do it all. Please don’t think that I somehow enjoy or like disasters (although I have been known to enjoy disaster movies – catch “Earthquake” on cable sometime for some thrills with the late, great Charlton Heston!).

What I do enjoy is helping people prep and plan to survive Mother Nature’s wake-up calls with tips, checklists, guides, kits and supplies. Believe it or not, safety precautions can actually be fun to think about – especially if you picture your favorite cartoon characters trying to accomplish emergency disaster preparedness and somehow comically screwing it all up!

With hurricanes, my main concern is to make sure you have plenty of supplies on hand! If the storm is severe enough, the stores will be closed and you won’t be allowed to drive anywhere anyway (which, considering the high price of gas will literally save you billions of dollars a day!). Not only that, your tap water could be compromised, your gas and electricity could be turned off, and gosh darn it, you might even lose your cable TV!

That means your storm preparation absolutely must include having enough fresh water and canned and packaged food for two weeks, as well as battery-operated weather radios and flashlights, and medical supplies, as well as other crucial items you can find in my special free Top 10 Facts for Hurricane Survival Report at my website, MrPrepared.com (yes, I have my own website – it’s 2008, people, everyone does!).

Safety preparedness isn’t a choice, it’s a must-do for you, especially if you’re in hurricane country. Download my Hurricane Survival Report! Be safe, not sorry! My last name may be Prepared – but it’s my first concern! Mr. Prepared is bringing awareness to preparedness!
